VOICES 18th Annual Day of Remembrance Information Forum Reflecting, Remembering, and Inspiring a Resilient Community
Join us on Tuesday, September 10 for VOICES 18th Annual Information Forum, a day-long program with insightful presentations, panel discussions and peer-to-peer opportunities designed to promote healing and resilience. The event provides an opportunity for 9/11 families, survivors, responders and those who continue to support them to gather for an informative program in advance of the anniversary. Family members of those who have died of 9/11-related illnesses are encouraged to attend.
As in years past, representatives from the World Trade Center Health Program will provide updates on treatment for medical and mental health conditions. Legal experts and victims’ advocates will discuss victim compensation programs and progress made on the September 11th litigation. Clinicians with decades of professional experience will also share their expertise about mental health treatment and building strength and resiliency.
The 9/11 Memorial has generously offered complimentary tickets to visit the Museum following the Forum.
VOICES Resiliency Symposium Knowledge to Practice: Pathways to Long-Term Healing A Victim-Centered Approach
Join us on Monday, September 9 for a day of clinically informed presentations from leading researchers, mental health practitioners and victim support organizations. The event provides a unique opportunity to learn from victims’ families, responders and survivors, as well as those who have responded to acts of terrorism and mass violence in the United States and abroad.
The day long symposium is intended to provide lessons learned and mental health considerations to prepare clinicians, victims’ services, law enforcement, emergency managers and community stakeholders for an effective response to support those impacted. Victims’ families, survivors and responders are invited to attend free of charge.
The 9/11 Memorial has generously offered complimentary tickets to visit the Museum following the Symposium.
